Her most recent cria sold at just two months old because of his gentle, people-loving nature—perfect for a family farm.
Grace is our go-to alpaca for weddings, farm tours, and public events. She is calm, confident, and genuinely enjoys people. Her daughter, Joy, inherited the same temperament, so when we’re hired for weddings, it’s always mother and daughter who represent our ranch. And the best part? They’re not just sweet—they’re beautifully alpacas with elite fleece traits. In a world where farms increasingly value animals for both temperament and beauty, Grace checks every box.
From the day she was born, Grace stood out. Her fleece was dense to the touch at one day old, with curls upon curls. She quickly became our ranch ambassador—the alpaca who greets visitors, stands for pets, and trots to the front of the treat line with confidence and charm. She is that rare alpaca who genuinely loves people, and people love her right back.
But Grace isn’t just personality—she has the genetics to match. Her phenotype is spot-on for the breed standard, and her fleece is what you would expect with her genetics and EPDs. She competed at Nationals in both walking fleece and halter as a white yearling, earning a 3rd in Walking Fleece and 6th in Halter in extremely competitive classes. Judges praised her for her high uniformity, fineness, density, coverage, and her long, “spaghetti-like” staples. Grace a proven dam, still hold an AFD of 20 at age 4 and two pregnancies.
Grace is sired by Silver Rose Overture and out of Tempi, our last remaining daughter of Hemingway’s Bogart. The pairing was so successful that we plan to repeat it. Her EPDs are exactly where a breeder wants them—all between 1% and 15%, with most in the top ranges. She ranks in the top 1% for fleece weight, reinforcing our focus on density. Her staple length EPD, at 37%, is still better than most alpacas in the national herd.
