Alpaca Breeding & Sales Services:

As a valued customer you can receive:

• Finance terms that are available and negotiable. One year same as cash financing for any purchase. For longer terms we offer 4% percent for terms up to 24 months, 6% from 25th month through five years depending on the amount of the purchase.
• You will receive up to two months free agisting for the purchase of a breeding for your breeding stock. If you purchase a dam, maiden, or dam with a new cria, you may board free for up to three months.
• If you buy multiple alpacas, discounts are available. Please inquire for details. We also offer discounts for booking/bundling multiple stud fees.
• When you buy with Colusa Riverside Alpacas, maidens come with a free breeding to a male owned by Colusa Riverside Alpacas. Certain packages also include breeding your newly purchased female with a local herdsire of your choice. In appreciation of your patronage you will receive 50% off future breeding fees for any future breeding with Colusa Riverside Alpacas' herdsires.
• When you buy your alpacas from Colusa Riverside, delivery is available within 150 miles.

Service Guarantees:

When you buy or breed at Colusa Riverside Alpacas, you will know the quality of the animal you are interested in by their EPDs (expected progeny differences), lineage and histogram results. You will get a breeder who stands behind their sales with full ranch guarantees backed by fairness, honesty and integrity.

• Reproduction guarantee for stud quality males
• Full fertility guarantee for breeding females with cria at side and of course, all maidens
• Live birth guarantees of 30 days
• You as the customer will get full customer support before, during, and after sales. You will contract with an owner breeder where animal health is paramount for your alpaca and ours. We want you to have complete satisfaction and peace of mind.
  

Alpaca Transport Services:

You will have your alpacas treated like our own. Your alpacas will be provided a safe, hazard free transport.

• Dave & Sheila have 20 years experience in hauling ranch animals. We have experience hauling animals short distances and long interstate travel. We at Colusa Riverside Alpacas offer local transport of alpacas. Your alpacas will ride in a comfortable, well maintained and safe Trails West gooseneck horse trailer that holds 4 alpacas comfortably. We can transport your alpacas within northern California up to 150 miles one way, or by independent contract for longer distances. We can transport after purchase, for breeding, or moving to a new area.
• The rates you will receive are industry standard and depend on miles traveled to and from each location. For a price quote for transport service, please give us a call or e-mail ( ) . Special transport rates are offered for those planning on breeding to any herdsire solely owned by Colusa Riverside Alpacas.
• Your alpacas will never be overcrowded for transport. We stop every 2-3 hours to check the trailer for water, hay, and to make sure all your alpacas and crias are safe and unstressed. Fresh bedding is put down with all transport to ensure a clean and healthy environment.

• Colusa Riverside Alpacas' mission is to advance the alpaca and the alpaca industry. Colusa Riverside Alpacas proudly provides the public with valuable learning material published and written by author/owner Sheila Scroggins, as well as other public learning resources and materials.
• Colusa Riverside Alpacas offers educational tours of our alpaca ranch. Come, meet and learn about alpacas, bring a sack lunch and picnic with the herd. Individuals, schools, daycares, or other groups are welcome. Please complete the farm tour request form to make a reservation.
• Owner Sheila Scroggins is also available as a guest lecturer for alpaca seminars and events.
